This school year looks different than most. For many, school is taking place at home with a virtual classroom. We understand that a lot is being asked not only of teachers, but of parents and students as well. At-home learning is hard. A child's classroom has condensed into a desk in their bedroom, or a seat at the kitchen table. The wifi isn't great, so virtual class is full of glitches and frozen screens. Parents are left to not only help with homework, but to help teach the lesson too.

So, we want to help.

On November 10th, we will be launching Class @ the Club! We are opening our doors at our 101 Spruce Street Clubhouse during the school day to provide a space for children and youth to participate in their virtual schooling. Class @ the Club will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during school hours (9:00AM - 3:00PM) and provide an informal tutoring and academic support space.

Please see below for more detail on this school support program. Online registration opens Monday, October 19.

Building Re Opening Resources

What will you be providing through this program?

Class @ the Club was created with the intention of providing more classroom-like spaces for students who have opted for at-home learning. During the day, our space goes unused until after-school program begins. Why let it go to waste?

We will also have dedicated part-time staff on-site with each cohort to help provide informal tutoring and academic support. Our part-time staff will provide their undivided attention to participants to ensure they are getting the support they need.

Snack will not be provided. Participants are expected to bring their lunch and snacks each day.

Can participants join after-school program?

Yes! Members of Class @ the Club will be allowed to stay for after-school program from 3:00 - 6:00PM at our 101 Spruce Street Clubhouse. You can register here.

Please Note: Participants still have to register for after-school program. If there are no spots available, you will be put on a waitlist until a spot opens up.
